Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the 2025 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project, CDBG Project No. 1200-23-336-PF-01, City of Shelby, MS. Bidders must be properly licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Contractors for the required type of work. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the project name, CDBG project number, opening date, and bidder's company information, including address and applicable state and local license and registration numbers. Bid security is required as specified in the Information for Bidders. Bidders must follow conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the contract, including Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Title VI Minority Bidders are encouraged to bid. No bids may be withdrawn for thirty days following the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 06/12/2026 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Joshua F. McPherson, P.E., Eley|McPherson, PA at 306 Third St, Cleveland, MS, 38732 and to be given consideration, must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids.
