A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The scope of work contemplated for the above - named project includes the security improvements within the Administration building , including the installation of wall partitions , interior doors , cabinetry and safety glass to separate the Authority's workspace from the area of public access and finishes that include flooring and wall painting . The Contractor shall provide access during construction for employees and customers . Note this is a working utility and the Contractor will need to coordinate all activities accordingly . Separation of the work area from the working office area will be required . Questions received after this time will not be addressed . This Contract includes the need to complete this work within sixty days ( 60 ) from the Notice to Proceed . Also , Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of " Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority " for not less than ten percent ( 10 % ) of the total bid price amount , except that the check shall not exceed $ 20,000.00 . The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required . The Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law . Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law . The scope of work for this project will be broken out into various phases and will include the following work. 1. The installation of wall partitions, interior doors, cabinetry, counters, safety glass and appurtenances within the Administration Building to create separation between the Authority work area and public space. And the demolition of the existing cabinetry, flooring, etc as necessary to allow for the proposed improvements. 2. The installation of cabinetry, counter and flooring as specified in the plans and specifications. 3. Final restoration and cleanup of all areas of disturbance both within the Administration Building to pre-construction conditions. 4. Protection of the surrounding workspace during all construction activities. Including the installation of protective temporary walls and curtains to keep debris from impacting the remaining office area. 5. Contractor shall accommodate access from customers and work in a safe and clean matter throughout construction. Award is subject to final approval.
