Remodeling of a municipal facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Remodeling the Town Hall, including: substructure (concrete foundation walls, concrete footings, concrete slab on grade), shell (roof construction, exterior walls, and roofing), interiors (partitions, interior doors, fittings, and finishes), services (plumbing, HVAC, and electrical), equipment (fixed casework), demolition (selective demolition for building alterations), sitework (preparation, building demolition, excavating, grading, and backfilling). Sealed bids for a Single Prime based on Stipulated Sum are required. Bid security must accompany each bid as required by the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to purchase Performance and Payment Bonds. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walk through will be held. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after bid opening without written consent. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and make such award as deemed most advantageous. Bidding documents will be available by contacting the designated representative. Contractors and suppliers will be allowed temporary use of the Architect's Revit model or AutoCAD files upon signing a waiver releasing the Architect from liability for use of the files.
