(WEAU) - The City of Eau Claire Engineering Department is informing the public of an upcoming construction project. The construction work is taking place on Cameron Street, Bellinger Street to Madison Street, and Mappa Street, Madison Street to Cameron Street. Work is scheduled to begin June 15, 2026. According to the City of Eau Claire Engineering Department, work will consist of clearing and grubbing, removing the existing asphalt surface, removing curb and gutter, removing driveway approaches, sanitary sewer and service installation, water main and service installation, storm sewer, grading and graveling, new curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk repair, new concrete sidewalk installation, new concrete driveway approaches, new bituminous pavement, epoxy pavement marking, and lawn restoration. -------------------------------------------------- Latex pavement marking at approximately 37 locations throughout the City of Eau Claire.
