Virginia Tech is seeking to solicit proposals to establish a term contract(s) with vendor(s) fully capable of providing the university with wayfinding signage and turnkey signage installation services for both interior and exterior signage. Virginia Tech is seeking to solicit proposals to establish a term contract (s ) with vendor (s ) fully capable of providing the university with wayfinding signage and turnkey signage installation services for both interior and exterior signage in accordance with the information contained within the Virginia Tech Campus Wayfinding Guidelines , Interior Signage Standards Manual , 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design , Agricultural Signage Standards (included within the Wayfinding Guidelines ) and Athletic Identity Guide contract ( s ). Links to these documents can be found within the Scope of Work . Universal Design principles shall be embraced in all aspects of wayfinding . The contractor shall apply Universal Design principles in the signage to allow for ease of access , use , and understanding , to the greatest extent possible , by all people regardless of their age , size , ability , or disability . Submittals should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Universal Design principles as to wayfinding signage (both interior and exterior ) .
