Renovation of a data center facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a data center facility.

Provide and install cooling units for data rooms in UKHC PAV A, specifically in basement rooms A0B021 and A0B211. The cooling units are to be connected to the process chiller loop Group 1, and include data drops and Tridium connections. All labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, and services necessary for the construction must be furnished as set forth in the specifications and drawings. Instructions to bidders include: Submit bids as Prime Contractors on a lump sum basis for the total project. Bids must be submitted using the official forms provided, specifically including the Form of Proposal (Bid Form) and a Bid Bond. Ensure no staples are included. All bids must be received in a sealed envelope with specific identifying information on the outside. All bids shall include a bid guarantee of no less than 5% of the base bid amount, and the successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. Specifications, plans, and official bid documents must be obtained from Lynn Imaging, and potential bidders must register as plan holders to receive addendums. Contractors must identify their firm’s position when obtaining documents. Bids are binding for sixty days after the opening date and may not be withdrawn except as specified. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive formalities or technicalities as necessary.
