The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for Sodium Aluminate Solution, 38% solids (Na2Al2O4). Bids must comply with specifications on file with the Safety Service Director. Contracts will be for a period of one year from the contract date with an option for renewal. Each bid must be sealed, appropriately marked, and include the full name of every person or company interested. Bids must be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the Invitation to Bid and accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee of contract entry if accepted. For services or undetermined quantities, a bid security of $500 is required. A Performance Bond may be required for professional services contracts. Requirements include price per pound (freight included), bulk tanker shipment, 100-ft. pumping capability, and compatibility with a 3" male/cam/groove fill connection fitting. The Safety-Service Director reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid that best serves the City's interests. Bid security will be returned promptly to unsuccessful bidders and to successful bidders upon proper contract execution.
