The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for Liquid Calcium Nitrate 66% (Calcium Nitrate Tetrahydrate Solution). Bids must follow specifications on file with the Safety Service Director. Contracts will be for a period of one year with an option for renewal. Requirements: Bidders must provide a price per pound (including freight), supply the product via bulk tanker shipment, be capable of 75' pumping capability, and connect to a 2" male cam/groove fill connection fitting on the tank. Instructions: Each bid must be submitted in a properly marked and sealed envelope containing the full name of every interested person or company. Bids must be made on the Bid Forms provided and accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to 5% of the total bid amount (or $500 for undetermined quantities/services). A Performance Bond may be required for contracts for professional services. The Safety Service Director reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid that best serves the interests of the City of Celina.
