The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for the supply of cationic coagulant. Bids must be in accordance with specifications available in the office of the Safety Service Director. Contracts shall be for a period of one year with an option for renewal. Requirements for the chemical include: unit price per pound (with freight included), bulk tanker shipment, 100-ft. pumping capability, and the ability to connect to a 3" male/cam/groove fill connection fitting on the tank. Bids must be submitted in a sealed and properly marked envelope containing the full name of all interested parties or companies, made on Bid Forms furnished with the Invitation to Bid, and accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check amounting to 5% of the total bid as a guarantee. For service bids or those without determined quantities, a bid security of $500 is required. A Performance Bond may be required for contracts for professional services. The Safety-Service Director reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the bid that best serves the interests of the City of Celina, Ohio. On rejected bids, bid security will be promptly returned; successful bidders will have bid security returned upon proper contract execution.
