Description

Renovation of a military facility in Livermore, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (LLNS) seeks sources for the design-build of the B695 Tank Farm Revitalization, which includes designing, demolishing, and installing five chemical reagent dosing systems serving nine 5,000-gallon waste treatment tanks; removing and replacing nine tank mixer assemblies, each consisting of blades, shaft, gearbox, and motor, capable of thoroughly mixing each tank within 10 minutes; and designing and installing nine coarse bubble diffusers, one per tank, capable of aerating at 60 scfm per tank. The project also includes an optional scope for removal and installation of instrumentation, including pH/ORP, conductivity, oxygen, total suspended solids (TSS), and liquid level sensors for each tank. The upgraded systems will integrate with the existing PLC to deliver controlled dosing and improved wastewater treatment operations, enhancing efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
