Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of citywide non-motorized improvements. The work involves bicycle and pedestrian improvements across ten areas in the City of Bellingham. Specific improvements include: refreshing and widening bicycle lane lines on Lakeway from Woburn St to City Limits; installing shared lane markings/sharrows on G and H Streets from Dupont to W North and W North from Cornwall to Broadway; improvements at seven intersections to install protected pedestrian crossings (four with ADA ramp upgrades and one with a new street light); and one intersection revision with upgraded curb ramps at E Maple and Mason on the west side of Ellis Street. All proposals must be submitted using the Bid Proposal form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash, money order, or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent of the total bid. No other form of bid security will be accepted. The right is reserved to postpone awarding, to reject any and all bids, or to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights.
