Renovation of a fire / police facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Bids are being accepted for the 2026 Fire Station Improvements Project, which includes all removals and disposals of the existing boiler system, the furnishing, installation, and setup of a new heating system, and all labor, materials, permits, equipment, tools, supplies, and related work necessary to complete the project. The base bid consists of boiler system removal and replacement along with related construction. Each bidder must submit a certified check or bid bond for at least five percent of the bid amount with their bid. Bidders are required to file a Bidders Proof of Responsibility Form with the Village Engineer. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening without consent from the Village. Contractors and subcontractors must pay at least prevailing federal wage rates, and contractors must engage minority-owned businesses for 20 percent and women-owned businesses for 5 percent of the contract amount. A performance bond equal to the full contract amount will be required from the successful bidder. The Village of West Milwaukee reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid in its best interest. All bids must follow the Instructions to Bidders and be filed electronically through QuestCDN.com.
