Sealed bids are requested from qualified roofing contractors for three separate roof replacement projects at the following locations: I-KAN Regional Office Building, Kankakee Health Department, and Kankakee Highway Building in Kankakee, Illinois. Each bidder must fill out the Bid Form and will be contracted individually to Kankakee County. All work must be performed using the established Prevailing Wage rates for the jurisdiction. A bid bond is required. Kankakee County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any technicalities. Documents and drawings are available in electronic format from the architect upon request. Bids will be received until the stated deadline and will be publicly opened and read at the specified location. It is not the intent of the Contract Documents to set forth in detail every item necessary for the construction of this Project . Contractor must be qualified for this work and must , without direction , furnish and install everything necessary to provide construction complete and in acceptable order , ready for use without additional work . All parts must be coordinated , complete , ready to operate and delivered to Owner in new condition .
