Requests are being made for sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #4 - Fire Suppression for the Jefferson HS Modernization project. Proposals must utilize the specified proposal form, be submitted as a single file (less than 10MB), and must include a completed Subcontractor/Vendor Questionnaire with the latest year-end safety and financial information unless previously submitted. Elaborate proposals or the inclusion of non-essential information such as marketing material, safety manuals, or resumes is discouraged. Incomplete proposals, those without the required questionnaire and safety/financial information (unless previously submitted), those directed elsewhere, or those submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Bidders must be properly licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board at the time of bid and must file a $30,000 Public Works Bond with the CCB in accordance with ORS 279C.836, with no exemptions permitted. This is a prevailing wage project and all requirements of ORS Chapter 279C must be followed. A District Specific Insurance Program (DSIP) for on-site operations is being provided for general liability. There is a goal to award at least 25% of the total amount paid to subcontractors to certified businesses as specified. Prime-tier subcontractors not certified must also aim for 25% utilization of lower-tier certified businesses.
