This project includes the installation of water main on three separate residential streets: SW Sunset Ave, SW Venture St, and SW Wheeler St. The project also includes the installation, reconnection and/or relocation of water services and hydrants. The project must be completed by September 1st so that a previously scheduled paving project may occur on these streets. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the owner or engineer to submit a bid. Bids must be completed on the provided bidding forms, in the manner prescribed in the bidding documents, and accompanied by a 5% bid security in favor of the City of Cascade Locks. Bidders must indicate whether they are a Resident or Non-Resident Bidder. All bids must include a statement that the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 870 and the higher of either Federal Davis Bacon or Oregon Prevailing Wage Rates are included in the bid prices. Contractors do not need to be licensed for asbestos handling to complete this project. Only bids for which a disclosure form has been submitted within two working hours of the Bid Closing date and time will be considered responsive. The City of Cascade Locks reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, may reject for good cause any and all bids upon a finding that it is in the public interest to do so, and may waive all informalities.
