This Erosion and Sediment Control Plan has been prepared for the Beaver Creek Sewage Interceptor Replacement Project - Vermont Avenue to Mary Street Segment. The project is located in the City of Bristol, Virginia and will be completed by a private contractor working under the direction of the BVU Authority (BVUA). The project will be completed under one single construction contract with work anticipated to commence in 2026. Construction involves replacement of approximately 1,900 LF of existing gravity sewer line along Beaver Creek from the flow equalization tank site upstream to Vermont Avenue. The existing 24" gravity sewer line in this area is being replaced with a larger 42" line. The sewer line portion of construction is considered to be linear in nature. The width of area disturbed along the sewer lines will vary based upon location, line depth, and other variables. The anticipated limits of disturbance is shown on the plans and is based upon a corridor width of 40' for the 42" pipe segments, 30' width for 8"-12" pipe sizes, and 20' width for 6" customer service lines. Using the aforementioned disturbed area width values, the area of disturbance for the project is anticipated to be 2.17 acres.
