Separate sealed bids are requested for the purchase of ammonia for a potable water treatment plant with an 18 MGD capacity. Bid prices must be F.O.B. to the Northeast Mississippi Regional Water Treatment Plant, 5590 Hwy 178 West, Fulton, MS 38843. The district reserves the right to accept alternate bids if the primary supplier is unable to provide product as specified. Ammonia must be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved, and vendors must provide a certificate of ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approval with their bid. The bid is to be on a bulk basis and the material must meet the following specifications: anhydrous ammonia, refrigerant grade or better, meeting all AWWA standards for potable water application; ammonia 99.98% minimum (99.99% typical), oil 3 ppm maximum (1 ppm typical), water 150 ppm maximum (50 ppm typical). Delivery is to be made to the plant site in Peppertown, Mississippi, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with order sizes based on storage availability at the plant. All prices are to remain constant for six calendar months, from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with no modifications recognized, including fuel surcharges or other charges. Invoices received after the third Wednesday of the month will be paid the following month. The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as “Bid for Ammonia to be Opened June 25th, 2026.”
