Separate sealed bids are requested for the purchase of polymer for a potable water treatment plant with a capacity of 18 MGD. Bid prices must be F.O.B. to the specified treatment plant location. The polymer must be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved, and vendors must include a certificate of approval with their bid. The bid should be for liquid polymer (20% active) capable of sludge blanket control over expected temperature ranges, meeting all AWWA standards for potable water. The polymer must blend with house water to form a solution of 0.5 to 3%. Bidders must have completed a successful pilot plant study using at least 500 lbs. of their product with the district's process. Delivery must be within 10 days of order notification, conforming to applicable regulations, and shipment must contain no less than 98% of the stated weight. Delivery times are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. All prices are for bulk quantities and must remain constant for six calendar months from July 1 to December 31, 2026. No modifications to the price, including surcharges, will be recognized during the term. The district reserves the right to accept alternate bids or reject any and all bids.
