Separate sealed bids are requested for the purchase of bleach for a potable water treatment plant with an 18 MGD capacity. The bleach must be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved, and vendors must provide certificates of approval with their bids. Bid prices must be F.O.B. to the treatment plant site and are to remain constant for six calendar months, from July 1 through December 31, 2026, without modifications, surcharges, or any other changes. Liquid sodium hypochlorite must be delivered in 4500-gallon truckload shipments, unloaded by a pump on the delivery truck, and placed into onsite 5000-gallon storage tanks. The product shall have a minimum of 10 percent by weight NaOCl, meet AWWA Standard B300, and comply with specified impurity limits. Each delivery must include an analysis report with the manufacturing date, percent by weight NaOCl, specific gravity, and estimated pounds per gallon of active chlorine and excess NaOH. Delivery must take place within five working days of order receipt, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept alternate bids if the primary supplier cannot provide as specified. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as indicated, and delivered to the specified address.
