Site work and new construction of a laboratory facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 374,500-square-foot, one-story below grade laboratory facility.
The Project Terra Canada National Capital Area is part of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) on the existing campus at 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa. The Client, Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), has engaged EBC Inc. to act as Construction Manager. The Component 1 portion of the project consists of a basement, a storey building, and a two-storey penthouse. The new building is around 374,500 sq ft (35,000 m2) gross floor area. Scope includes foundation waterproofing work. Pre-qualification requirements: Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
