Renovation of an industrial development in Newport, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.
Remove and dispose of the existing 3-ton overhead bridge crane. Provide a new 3-ton overhead electric traveling bridge crane with a top-running bridge and an under-running trolley hoist. Replace existing crane rails and crane conductors with new rails and conductors to accommodate two cranes operating on the same common rail system. Replace the existing electric power infrastructure to the crane with a new upgraded power feed to support two new 3-ton cranes on the common rail system. Optional work includes providing all work in connection with a second new 3-ton overhead electric traveling bridge crane in room 101 of Building 114, complete and in accordance with NAVFAC project drawings and technical specifications, and providing a crane anti-collision sensor system for each of the two cranes.
