Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Ellensburg, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to remove existing cement concrete sidewalk, precast cement concrete pedestrian crossing, asphalt and subgrade; prepare subgrade; place and compact top course; remove and reinstall brick paver sidewalk; install cement concrete curb ramps; install asphalt; install precast cement concrete pedestrian crossing; and widen the existing area as needed. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids plainly marked with the project and bid call number. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a cashier's check or surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The deposit will be forfeited if the successful bidder does not enter into the contract or provide a satisfactory performance bond within the specified time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and will consider the responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors in making the award. Bids may not be withdrawn after opening or before award unless the award is delayed more than sixty days. The engineer's estimate for the project is $88,000 to $106,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
