TABOR ROAD SUBSTATION CONSTRUCTION OF INTERCONNECTION 138kV LINE. ELECTRONIC BIDS TO BE SUBMITTED BY 2:00 PM CST, JULY 2, 2026. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING & SITE VISIT at BTU System Operations Center, 2200 Fountain Avenue, Bryan TX 77801 on June 19, 2026 at 9:30 AM CST. Site visit immediately following the pre-bid meeting at Tabor Road Substation, 3084 FM974, Bryan, Texas. Bids will be publicly opened via Zoom. Question Deadline 06/25/2026 at 5:00 PM CT all questions and inquiries related to this Request for Bid shall be addressed in writing via the Brazos Valley Online Bidding This project consists of making all physical, electrical, relaying, & controls changes necessary to create a new 138kV terminal in an existing 138kV ring bus. The new terminal being added is for a customer interconnect, and will be protected by a new BTU-standard Line-Protection Relay Panel. A breaker will be added to create the new terminal, which will be complete with a new H-frame dead-end structure for the interconnection. Reference the next section for a high-level list of tasks to be completed by the contractor for the completion of this job.
