The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home in Delaware County. Work will be completed according to the work write-up and must be finished within 30 working days. The job should begin within two weeks of notification, with a penalty of $100.00 per working day for extensions beyond the contract end date. Bidders must fully complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and the Work Write Up to be considered responsive and responsible. Preference is given to TERO certified bidders through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office, and proof of certification must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with Tribal rules, regulations, and TERO requirements. A purchase order will be awarded to the responsible contractor with the lowest, most responsive bid in accordance with HACN Procurement Policy, subject to availability of funds. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline and are accepted from both Indian and Non-Indian bidders. HACN reserves the right to determine if a bid meets requirements and to reject any or all bids. Indian preference is given only to those providing current TERO certification. The project is subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act and applicable TERO requirements, including fees.
