Bids are invited for the Blakely Swansee Field ADA Improvements project as designed by KBA Engineering. The project will consist of new ADA accessible bathrooms, access pathways, and parking lot paving. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than ten percent. Bidders must submit all forms listed in the Attachments to Plans and Specifications. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply. The contract documents contain requirements regarding prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. Bidders contacted and to whom commitments have been made must submit documentary evidence of minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns. Documentation of such solicitations and commitments shall be submitted with the bid. Lackawanna County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. Question Deadline 06/18/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the OWNER. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration
