The Township Supervisors of the Township of Spring, on behalf of the Berks County Cooperative Purchasing Council, will receive sealed bids for road salt. All bids must be submitted separately, sealed, and marked appropriately to indicate the item for which the bid is submitted. Bidders are required to provide a certified check or bid bond as a bid guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total proposal, made payable to the Berks County Cooperative Purchasing Council. The successful bidder must supply Performance and Payment Bonds as required by law. The Township of Spring and the Berks County Cooperative Purchasing Council reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept any bid that, in their judgement, is in the best interests of its members and the public.
