Bids are being accepted for the City of Lafayette - Lafayette Theater Renovation – Demolition and Roofing Package project in Lafayette, Indiana. The bid packages include: General Trades Demolition, Masonry, Structural Steel, Roofing, Fire Protection Demolition, Mechanical/Plumbing Demolition, and Electrical Demolition. Bids combining multiple packages are allowed, but each individual package must also have a bid submitted, and all must be clearly identified on the appropriate forms. Required documents for bid submission include Indiana State Form 96 (if the bid is $150,000 or more), Supplemental Bid Form, Trench Safety Affidavit (as applicable), Drug Testing Affidavit, and bid security (for bids $200,000 or more). Additional documents required within 24 hours after the bid due date include M/W/VBE Participation Forms, List of Subcontractors, and List of Material Suppliers. Bid submission requirements vary depending on contract value, with specific exceptions for smaller bid amounts. All bid packages over $100,000 must include an add alternate for Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the base bid, including alternates. Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for select scope of work packages based on the discretion of the Owner and Construction Manager.
