Site work for a water / sewer project in Hudson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of installing a new ductile iron water service line to supply water to Hudson City Hall at 1140 Terex Road in Hudson, Ohio. The project is divided into two phases: Phase 1 covers interior water riser and backflow preventer installation, while Phase 2 focuses on exterior waterline service replacement. This bid is for Phase 2, which includes installing approximately 290 linear feet of new 6-inch ductile iron water line and related appurtenances from Terex Road to Hudson City Hall, as well as disconnecting the existing service from Akron Water on Hudson Drive. All work must be completed in accordance with the specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Bids must be submitted through the Bid Express website, and must be accompanied by bid security either in the form of a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson.
