Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hazlet, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This work shall also include the construction of new masonry sidewalks, driveways, and islands, and the resetting or replacement in-kind of all driveway edging and/or curbing; the resetting in-kind of unit masonry paver, granite block, brick, flagstone, exposed aggregate, patterned (stamped) concrete or other decorative sidewalks, driveways or islands and the construction and/or reconstruction of decorative broken stone or gravel driveways. Sealed bids will be received for 2026 concrete improvements. Only bidders who have obtained bid documents from the Township Engineer's Office or the township's website are permitted to submit proposals. Proposals must be made using the Standard Proposal Forms as specified in the bid specifications, submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and the name of the work clearly marked. Proposals must also include all items identified in the bid specifications. Bidders must comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and other relevant laws, including disclosure of ownership, business registration, and public works contractor registration. The Mayor and Committee reserve the right to reject any or all bids for any cause. Bid award or rejection will occur within sixty days of receipt of bids.
