The City of Fairhope is requesting responses from qualified contractors to provide all material, equipment, labor, incidentals, overhead and profit to perform selective demolition, temporary shoring, structural repairs and rehabilitation of the west and south promenade structures at the James P. Nix Center located at 1 Bayou Drive, Fairhope, Alabama. Work includes repair and replacement of deteriorated structural framing members, installation of supplemental supports, reinforcement of structural connections, and restoration of load paths while maintaining the integrity of the existing concrete promenade, adjacent building façades, and pedestrian access. It is expected that the winning bidder can complete this project in ninety (90) calendar days, no exceptions for holidays following a fifteen (15) day Notice to Proceed Period. Question Deadline 06/12/2026 at 11:00 AM CT All bids must be on blank bid forms provided, enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope, clearly identified as a "Sealed Bid" with Item Name, Bid Number, City of Fairhope's Name and Address, and Contractor's Name and Address. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Bids made out in pencil will not be accepted. Failure to observe the instructions will constitute grounds for rejection. The City may accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities or furnish any item or work or change the amount of the contract in the best interest of the City of Fairhope.
