The Pike Co. Agency for Developmental Disabilities (PCADD) is accepting bids for a bathroom remodel and flooring improvements at its House 2 group home located on the PCADD campus at 900 Independence Dr. in Bowling Green MO. Housing Unit 2: Bathroom and Hallway Remodel The work consists of selective demolition and preparatory work for the Housing Unit 2 bathroom and adjacent hallway remodel. Scope includes removal and disposal of existing plumbing fixtures, the shower unit and associated wall assemblies, and existing finish flooring and subflooring, as required to accommodate new construction. Selective removal of existing plumbing and wall components will be performed as required. The existing window will be removed, and the opening will be filled with moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum board. Exterior insulation and vinyl siding will be installed at the east wall at the former window location to match adjacent finishes. 1. Provide new plumbing rough ins for all required fixtures at required locations. 2. Provide and install new subflooring in the bathroom and hallway. 3. Provide and install finish flooring in the bathroom and hallway. 4. Provide and install moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum board, as required. 5. Provide surface preparation and paint finish at all walls and ceiling (colors to be determined by Director or HU-2 Head of Staff). 6. Provide and install walk-in shower kit with integrated bench and grab bars (location to be determined by Director or HU-2 Head of Staff). 7. Provide and install toilet with grab bars and sink/vanity; connect to plumbing rough-ins (locations to be determined by Director or HU-2 Head of Staff). 8. Provide and Install bathroom accessories (mirror, toilet paper holder, etc.) in compliance with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and applicable codes. 1. Remove and dispose of all existing bathroom fixtures, including toilet and lavatory. 2. Remove and dispose of existing shower unit and associated shower wall assemblies. 3. Remove and dispose of existing shower half-wall (short wall). 4. Remove and dispose of existing finish flooring and subflooring. 5. Selectively remove existing plumbing, as required for the remodel. 6. Selectively remove bathroom/hallway partition wall, if required, to facilitate subfloor and finish flooring installation. 7. Remove existing window. 8. Infill former window opening with moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum board. 9. Provide exterior insulation and vinyl siding at the east wall at the former window location to match adjacent finishes.
