Rehabilitate - deck, bearings, piers and steel - of Rt 414 over CSX bridge to bring to state of good repair and extend service life in the Village of Clyde, Wayne County. (BIN 4060680) This project will repair elements rated 4 or less and raise the condition rating to eliminate the deficient status. Elements that will be evaluated for repair under this project are the deck, bearings, piers, and primary member steel repairs. The repairs will raise the overall condition rating and remove the structural deficient status. Route 414 over the CSX/Erie Canal is an important north/south route in Wayne County and provides access to the NYS Thruway to the south. The movement of goods and commuters rely on this corridor in the center of Clyde. Any interruption in the ability to cross this bridge would create a significant hardship to the local residents and businesses. The shortest equivalent functioning highway detour is 14 miles.
