The City of Hollis is soliciting bids for the construction of a waterline relocation for State of Oklahoma Department of Transportation J/P 34236, Harmon County, US-62. The work includes furnishing and installing 1,580 linear feet of 4” PVC C900 DR18 water main, 2 each 4” gate valves and boxes, 2 each 4” interconnections, 1 each 4” x 90° bend, 4 each 4” x 45° bend, 2 each 4” cut and plug, 2 each PVC to PE transition, 350 linear feet directional bore and install 10” PE SCR 11 casing, 350 linear feet install 4” PE SDR 11 water main in 10” PE SDR 11 casing, 55 linear feet bore and install 8” steel casing, 55 linear feet install 4” PVC C900 DR18 water main in 8” steel casing, 1 each 1” combination air valve, 1 lump sum construction traffic control, and 1 lump sum pressure testing and disinfection. Bidders must submit a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee to enter into contract and file required bonds within ten days of award notice. Specifications and plans must be obtained from the office of Myers Engineering and bidders must be registered on the Engineer’s bid list to be eligible. All proposals must be typewritten or neatly written in ink and submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked for the project, and received by the specified deadline. Compliance with Buy America requirements for steel and iron products is mandatory, requiring all manufacturing processes to occur in the United States, with supporting certifications, documentation, and material origin forms to be provided as specified.
