Renovation of a municipal facility in Ward, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are invited for Phase Two Renovations of the City Hall. The work includes General Construction, Mechanical Work, Plumbing Work, and Electrical Work, all to be completed under one prime contract. A mandatory pre-bid conference is specified for General Contractors, with attendance required for eligibility to submit a bid. Subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. Bidders are responsible for using official and complete sets of Bid Documents as provided by the Architect, and are advised to purchase or access these documents through the stated vendors. Bidders must conform to all referenced Arkansas state licensing laws for contractors, and are required to submit a cashier's check or acceptable bidder's bond amounting to at least 5% of the base bid as bid security. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and include the bidder's name, address, Arkansas Contractor License number, and the project name on the outside. Small, minority, and women-owned business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids and to be considered for subcontracts. The Owner reserves the right to waive formalities or reject any or all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after opening. Requests for interpretation or clarification of Bid Documents must be made in writing addressed to Wittenberg, Delony & Davidson, Inc., ATTN: Gordon Duckworth, AIA, duck@wddarchitects.com. UST BE RECEIVED AT LEAST FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO DATE FIXED FOR OPENING OF BIDS. Award is subject to final approval.
