The Town of New Brockton is seeking qualifications from engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project. The scope includes preliminary engineering (cost estimates, reports, maps) for the CDBG application phase; and, if applicable, design and specifications (including bid alternates), preparation of bid documents, advertisements, and openings, obtaining necessary permits, conducting pre-bid and preconstruction meetings, and engineering observation during construction. This may also involve preparing change orders or amendment paperwork and final inspections if necessary. Proposals will be rated on recent CDBG experience, integrity, personnel caliber, ability to meet schedules, and familiarity with the Town's needs. Proposals must follow Common Rule and will be evaluated per the stated selection criteria. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
