Sealed proposals from qualified general contractors are invited for two projects: a new addition and renovation to the softball dugout at Pelham High School (Architect Job No. 25-48) and a baseball field restroom renovation and addition at Pelham High School (Architect Job No. 25-106). Each proposal must include a cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Pelham City Board of Education, not less than five percent of the proposal amount, with a maximum of $10,000.00. Performance and payment bonds and insurance evidence, as required in the bid documents, will be required upon signing the contract. Drawings and specifications can be examined at the office of Lathan McKee Architects or on the Lathan McKee website. Bidders must complete a Pre-Bid Verification Application on the Lathan McKee website to access plans and specifications and be verified as general contractors. Hard copy sets of drawings and specifications must be purchased by the general contractors. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the architect. Only bids from general contractors on the Official Bidders List with completed Pre-Bid Verification Applications may be accepted. All contractors must comply with state licensing requirements and display their general contractor's license number on the sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors as deemed in the owner's best interest.
