Sealed proposals are requested for the construction of Appaloosa Trail Water Main Replacement. The bid includes approximately 2,100 feet of 6-inch CL350 Ductile Iron Water Main, 14 service reconnections, 1 fire hydrant assembly, and miscellaneous water main appurtenances. All bidders must be responsible and meet the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of bidders is not required. The project is considered a 'Public Works' project governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and bond agents should be familiar with this code. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving the same. There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project. Time for completion of work: 90 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Award is subject to final approval.
