Renovation of an educational facility in Windham, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the replacement of the roof at the Katherine Thomas Elementary School building. Bids must be submitted on the bid form available at the office of the Treasurer of the Board of Education and in accordance with the instructions to bidders, which are also available from the Treasurer. Bids must contain the name of every person interested and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a proper contract and furnish a performance bond for the full contract amount. All guarantees must be payable to the Windham Exempted Village School District Board of Education. The Board reserves the right to accept the lowest responsible bid, reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive bidding irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid opening. Bidders must comply with statutory requirements regarding the licensing of out-of-state corporations.
