Sealed bids are sought from qualified bidders for six separate projects identified as WARREN COUNTY NRCS EWP EROSION CONTROL PROJECT NO. 75(351) – GROUP 11 (6 SITES). Each project involves drainage improvements and bank stabilization at six sites throughout Warren County. Each project will be bid and awarded individually and requires the contractor to perform all work and furnish all parts, labor, equipment, and materials as specified in the drawings and contract documents. Bidders may submit bids for one, several, or all projects, but must submit a separate, complete bid tabulation sheet for each project. Each project will be evaluated and awarded independently, with no advantage for grouping or combined pricing. The contract time for each project is seventy calendar days, subject to liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day for default after the stipulated completion date. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State law and possess a Certificate of Responsibility in a relevant classification. A bid bond of $10,000 must accompany each bid, regardless of how many sites a bidder bids on. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount awarded. Bidders must also submit a current financial statement if requested. Non-resident bidders must submit a copy of their state law regarding non-resident contractor treatment.
