Total project funding available is $550,000. The Design-Build Team shall provide as needed architectural, engineering, surveying, geotechnical, environmental coordination, permitting, construction, labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the Project. The Project will be executed in multiple phases starting with scopes of work A and B, which also could include individual components of scopes of work C and D, based on available funding. Sealed bids will be received for the implementation of the Todd Field Improvements Project. Each bid must be submitted on the official Bid Forms provided with the Specifications, and delivered to the office of the Director of Parks & Recreation. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or a bid security bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Willoughby, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted and a contract is awarded, the contract will be properly executed and its performance secured. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, from an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio and listed on the most current Department of Treasury Circular 570. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and accept the lowest and best bid. *Bidders must use the City's printed Forms.
