This scope includes the removal and disposal of the existing make-up air unit (“MAU”) and the supply, installation, connection, start-up, testing, balancing, commissioning, inspection, and turnover of one new replacement MAU serving the subject multi-family residential building. The replacement unit and all associated work shall be suitable for the intended application and shall comply with all applicable codes, standards, permit requirements, authority having jurisdiction requirements, and manufacturer installation instructions. The existing Make-Up Air Unit at our Prospect View Apartment building was installed approximately in 2005 during original building construction. The unit services a 50-unit, 3-storey apartment building. Due to the unit being at the end of its useful life, the unit is now scheduled for replacement. Replace the existing MUA with a new, fully compatible unit and accessories, including all materials, labour, permits, testing, and commissioning requirements. Restore and verify corridor pressurization to limit migration of odours and pollutants and maintain healthy indoor air per multi-unit residential best practice. Ensure the replacement MAU and all associated work comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and local codes, standards, permit requirements, authority having jurisdiction requirements (RMWB), and manufacturer installation instructions, including all applicable building, gas, electrical, and safety codes requirements.
