Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Eldridge, Iowa. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are requested for the construction of three hot mix asphalt (HMA) resurfacing projects in Scott County. The scope includes the following projects: L-229--73-82 (257th Avenue from Territorial Road to Wisconsin Street and Wisconsin Street from 257th Avenue east approximately 0.3 miles to the City of Leclaire corporate limits), L-330--73-82 (170th Avenue from 290th Street north approximately 0.6 miles), and L-527--73-82 (130th Avenue from 210th Street to 240th Street). Work includes cleaning and preparation of base, relocation of mailboxes, pavement scarification, installation of HMA mixtures (base and surface courses), asphalt binder application, pavement sampling, driveway surfacing with crushed stone, painted pavement markings, traffic control, provision of flaggers and pilot cars, and mobilization. Prospective bidders must be on the Iowa Department of Transportation's current list of qualified bidders and meet prequalification requirements. Plans, bid documents, and information can be obtained from the Scott County Engineer's Office.
