Demolition, site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development.

The project involves replacing existing wooden sheds with new plastic sheds at the Centennial Place housing complex in Farrell, Pennsylvania. The work includes demolishing the existing wooden sheds, disposing of them, and installing new plastic sheds. Bidders must agree to complete all work as specified in the scope of work for the bid price and within the contract time agreed upon, which is 120 days from the notice to proceed, weather permitting. Bidders must also accept all terms and conditions of HUD forms 5369, 5369A, and 5370. Mercer County Housing Authority reserves the right to conduct a pre-award survey to determine the bidder's capacity to fulfill the contract, which may include debarment searches, financial capacity review, and evaluation of prior contract performance. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked 'Centennial Place Shed Replacements' and sent to the address provided. This work is to replace 58 sheds at Centennial Place Housing complex. This site is made up of 3 sites: Phase I, Phase II, and Legacy Commons. This Invitation for Bid is asking for 3 prices one for each site. There are 21 sheds at Phase 1,19 sheds at Phase II, and 18 sheds at Legacy Commons. The existing sheds are on a 6'x6' concrete slab. The new sheds will be installed in the same location. The base of the new specified shed is 66.93"X 66.93". 1. Demo existing wooden shed and remove from the site. 2. The contractor is responsible for disposing of the demoed materials within DEP regulations. 3. Cut any remaining concrete anchors or fasteners flush with the concrete pad. If the fastener has pulled completely out fill the holes with a concrete crack filler. 4. Clean concrete pad before installing the new shed. 5. Install the new shed to the manufacturer's recommendations. 6. The contractor is responsible for cautioning off the work area to prevent the public from danger. 7. The contractor is responsible for any damage caused to landscaping. 8. Timeline is 120 days from the notice to proceed. Weather permitting.
