Mill and pave 150,000 SF of existing asphalt cart pathways. Over-excavate subbase where directed. 225,000 SF of seeding and erosion control blanket to restore disturbed turf. 20,000 SF of cart path widening to 10' wide. 8,600 LF at 8” wide and 4” high of asphalt curbing. Bid Alternate Items – Turf Type Tall Fescue Sod (unit price per square foot installed); new asphalt cart path in new location, 8' to 10' wide; remove wooden bridge and replace with pipe and asphalt cart path. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid and made payable to Bensalem Township, PA. This project is subject to the guidelines of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Grant Program. The bidding requirements are provided in the Capital Facilities Debt Enabling Act (Act 67 of 2004). The bid is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked on the outside “2026 CART PATH REPAVING - BENSALEM TOWNSHIP COUNTRY CLUB PROJECT.” Bensalem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or take such action as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law. Pre-qualification requirements: Submission of Responsible Contractor Certification Form and Responsibility Statement with supporting documentation, as well as documentation of having performed detailed golf renovations or reconstruction work on five (5) golf courses within the past five (5) years, specifying the Golf Course, contract amount, completion date, and course superintendent information.
