The Corporation of the Town of Cochrane owns and operates the Cochrane Municipal Airport, located at 59 Glackmeyer Concession Road 4, Cochrane, Ontario. Through routine inspections and operational observations, the Town has identified localized pavement deterioration along Runway 13/31, including surface cracking, settlement, roughness, and other asphalt distress. Certain sections of the runway have deteriorated to a condition that warrants rehabilitation to maintain safe aircraft operations and extend the service life of the pavement.
