OPWDD is requesting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB, or NYS small business contractors to provide kitchen/dining room renovation services at Sunmount DDSO, SOIRA 7266 State Route 3 Cranberry Lake. Kitchen renovation. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of receiving materials required for project, unless modified below This is a NYS Public Works project, prevailing wages are to be paid, and Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the kitchen renovation, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or his/her representative. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: A: Demolition 1. Removal of existing appliances. Appliances are to be stored in the home's garage for reuse. 2. Removal and proper disposal of existing countertops, cabinetry, backsplash tile, and flooring. 3. Removal of existing light fixtures for replacement. 4. Repair, as necessary, existing walls, ceiling, and subfloor to accommodate new installations. B: New Construction 1. Provide and install new Mohawk (Hot and Heavy) Glue down or equivalent luxury vinyl plank flooring. Color to be chosen by OPWDD staff. 2. Provide and install new cabinetry. Cabinet construction to be of minimum 1/2 inch A Grade plywood veneer cabinet box, solid wood dovetail drawer boxes, 3/4 solid wood face frame and drawer faces, hardware to be soft close concealed undermount drawer slides and concealed soft close door hinges. Manufacturer to be Kraft Maid, Homecrest, Merillat or equivalent Style and color to be chosen by OPWDD staff from contractor submittals. 3. Provide and install new solid surface countertops (Pental Quartz or equivalent). Colors/patterns to be chosen by OPWDD staff. Patch, prime and paint all Walls and Ceilings in Kitchen/Dining room area not covered by cabinets and backsplash colors to be chosen by OPWDD Staff from OPWDD common area color chart. 7. Install new lighting fixtures (including range hoods) electrical outlets, and Switches in existing locations. 8.
