**As of July 07, 2026, the project was awarded to Wayco, with an awarded amount of $544,198.39.** Sealed proposals are requested for the "2026 Road Paving Bid Proposal" for road paving on various roads in Paradise Township, Monroe County for up to the following: 1,521 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave, 60 lb/sy Scratch Course; 4,563 Tons of 9.5MM Superpave, 180 lb/sy Wearing Course; 16,842 LF of 4" Double Yellow Center Lines with Glass Beads; and 24,269 LF of 4" Single White Edge Lines with Glass Beads. All materials must meet current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award. PA Prevailing Wages apply to the contract. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, delete projects or portions depending on budgetary constraints, and waive any technicalities in the best interest of the Township. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
