Site work for a water / sewer project in Page, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of a concrete pad at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (GLCA) in accordance with the attached statement of work. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary to complete the project. The work is a small construction requirement with an estimated magnitude of less than $25,000, with a payment bond required if the quoted price exceeds $35,000 in accordance with FAR 52.228-13. The project is set aside 100% for Small Business and includes compliance with all specifications and requirements outlined in the statement of work, along with submission of questions by the stated deadline and timely delivery of quotes. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a reinforced concrete pad at the location at the developed area at Lees Ferry, AZ Glen Canyon National Recreation Area (GLCA) requires the installation of a concrete pad. Question due date has been extended to June 19, 2026 by 12pm MT. Questions due electronically to lindsay_mclaughlin@ios.doi.gov Quote due date remains unchanged. Period of Performance: 07/07/2026 to 08/31/2026 Site Preparation o Verify dimensions and layout (41' x 31') o Excavate to required depth to accommodate sub-base and concrete thickness (6") o Compact subgrade to ensure a stable base Base Installation o Ensure base is level and properly compacted Formwork o Set and secure form boards to specified dimensions: o Length: 41-feet o Width: 31-feet o Thickness: 6-inches o Ensure forms are level, square, and properly braced. Reinforcement o Install reinforcement as specified: o #4 rebar at 16-inch on center each way o Ensure rebar maintains proper placement within slab. Concrete Placement o Provide ready-mix concrete with a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 PSI o Place, spread, and consolidate concrete to eliminate voids o Screed and finish surface equal to a smooth trowel finish o Edge slab perimeter Curing o Cure concrete in accordance with industry standards 3. CLEANUP o Remove forms after initial cure o Backfill edges as required o Remove debris and leave site clean
