Sealed proposals or bids are invited for the construction of the Smucker Park Detention Basin in Yuma County, Arizona. The work is located in the City of Yuma between Avenue A and East Main Canal, north of 32nd Street. The scope includes construction of a new detention basin, storm drain improvements, culverts, headwalls, and removal and installation of sanitary sewer miscellaneous improvements. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project's Proposal Pamphlet and on provided forms, including a non-collusion affidavit and a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for ten percent of the total bid amount. To receive addenda and notices, prospective bidders must register by submitting the “Receipt Acknowledgement Form” within the Proposal Pamphlet. All bids must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the project title and number. The amount programmed for the base bid is $4,500,000.00. The project must be completed within 180 calendar days from Notice-to-Proceed. The Yuma County Flood Control District Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities.
