Binghamton University seeks competitive bids for a commercial-grade gym floor protection system and comprehensive handling/maintenance accessories. The procurement requires two sizes of heavy-duty protective floor coverings to match facility dimensions, as well as a heavy-duty mobile storage rack, an automated brush cleaning system, a high-capacity power winder, a walk-behind tape dispenser, and a bulk supply of seaming tape. This procurement is for equipment and materials only; no installation is included. Protective floor covering specifications: - Minimum 32,130 square feet total primary coverage, divided into 27 sections of 10 feet wide by 119 feet long each. - Minimum 2,160 square feet total secondary coverage, divided into 3 sections of 10 feet wide by 72 feet long each. - Material: Commercial-grade, heavy-duty protective facility floor cover fabric, premium 27 oz. equivalent weight/performance. Storage, handling, and maintenance equipment: - Three premium-tier, heavy-duty wheeled steel storage and deployment carts, each with a 10-roller capacity. - Three single-brush attachment systems for automatic debris cleaning, integrated with the storage racks. - One motorized, heavy-duty 110-volt power winder capable of winding loads exceeding 2,500 lbs (1,140 kg). Installation accessories: - One manual, wheeled walk-behind tape dispenser for 3-inch wide seaming tape application. - Four cartons (64 rolls) of premium-grade floor seaming tape, 3 inches wide by 36 yards long per roll, 16 rolls per carton.
